Lori Yount

Lori Yount is a Senior Assistant City Attorney at the City of Houston Legal Department, where she represents the City in complex commercial and constitutional litigation. In 2022, she won the Department's Outstanding Attorney Award. Serving the community has always been a priority for Lori, and she has served on the HYLF Board since 2020, as well as serving on the HYLA Board in 2018-2019. Before graduating from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2013, she served communities as a newspaper reporter. She enjoys travel and Astros games with her husband, Ben, as well as spoiling their elderly shih tzus and young nephews.
