PREVIOUS GRANT AWARDS
HYLF is proud to have contributed to many great non-profit organizations in our community throughout the years. These organizations have helped further our mission, and have also met the other requirements we have set for Grant Applications. That is, they seek to accomplish at least one of the following: (1) further justice and legal education through the sponsorship and encouragement of legal research, publications, institutes and forums; (2) institute and maintain legal aid facilities for the indigent or working poor and optimize aid grants from governmental and private resources; (3) support youth through athletic and educational forums; and/or (4) engage in any other activity that will promote and aid an improved system for the administration of justice and the improvement of the Bench and Bar in Harris County, Texas and surrounding areas. HYLF is committed to seeing these organizations succeed, and its Board regularly communicates with several of these past grant recipients.
